Tom's Victorian home was already stunning, but could be further improved upon by the introduction of common historical wall trims. We removed the dining room baseboards, but otherwise our carpenters got right to work cutting and installing the pieces for the new trim and paneling in the dining room, living room, and bathroom. The resulting new finishes add a lightness and dimension to the spaces, and help highlight the beautiful high ceilings this era was famous for.
Progress comparisons
We installed a chair rail around the living room, and wainscoting panels in the dining room.
In the dining room, we removed the existing floorboards and installed wainscoting around the room of this Victorian home.
In the downstairs 3/4 bath, we installed wainscoting to instill a traditional aesthetic to the Victorian space.
