We work on a big range of project sizes. A small rot repair could be a few hundred dollars, a whole high-end living space conversion could be $250,000. Most of our single-room home renovation projects range from $18,000-70,000. We strongly recommend you share your rough project budget range with us from the start. This helps us align on your cost expectations. We work on projects ranging from low-cost stock materials through to custom high-end finishes. While we encourage clients to choose quality materials that will last longer for your investment and we advise accordingly, we understand this isn't the price point for everyone. Therefore, letting us know your priority of cost vs. longevity from the start will help us best help you!

We're fortunate to be a tight-knit team in high demand, so we tend to schedule new projects somewhat far in advance. Usually, 2-3 months out, so if you're considering working with us, get in touch sooner rather than later! Once a project is going, we generally take 3-4 weeks to complete a single room renovation, with 2-3 team members on site for at least half of most of those days. Larger renovations such as full basements or home remodels can take 8-12 weeks.

We aim to be as transparent about pricing as possible, and upfront about the cost of a project so that we don't run into surprises later. The estimates we write for potential clients break down the projected costs for labor, materials, electrical, plumbing, and all items that these include. We can work with a range of budgets, depending on the complexity, material quality, and longevity of finish you're looking for. To help us best help you, it's good to have a number in mind of what you're comfortable spending so we can best align with you on the level of material and labor costs ideal for your project.

Things happen as projects progress! We try to remain as transparent and flexible as possible, and stick to the original cost we estimated for you. It's not common that we need to adjust costs partially through a project, but sometimes there are unexpected major hidden damage or rot we find when we start getting into things. If something does come up, we speak with you in the first instance and explain what happens if we do or don't address the issue, the decisions available to you, and any unplanned costs these decisions might incur. Again, this fortunately doesn't happen very often! Most issues of this scale are visible upon initial consultation.

Yes - most of our clients come to us with a vision rather than a finished design, and we work with them to develop that vision into a plan. For larger projects, we can help with all design and planning elements, working with you through moodboards, sketches, and 3D renderings for full alignment before the project heads to building.
